Yes, we have shuttles running from 10 am to 9 pm on Friday 24 September transporting guests to Safari Town Music Festival and back during the whole day.
Are day visitors allowed to visit the Jimny Camping Village?
Yes, as long as you arrive in a Jimny, you will be able to visit friends at the campsite (You will be required to park in a dedicated area).
Can I camp next to my friends at the Glamping tented area?
Yes, if you are a group of friends, simply pop us an email and we will ensure you camp together. bookings@jimnygathering.co.za
Can I braai/make an open fire at my campsite?
NO. You are welcome to braai on gas, alternatively, we have a dedicated communal braai area in the middle of the campsite with fire marshalls.
Is there power at the Jimny Camping Village?
The campsite does not have individual power outlets, we have a dedicated hospitality area with a bar, food vendor, games area, and smart device charging station.
Can I reserve a camping spot for my friends?
Yes, but be fair-minded.
How does the camping allocation work?
It’s first come, first serve. Each car will have a demarcated area.
Is the Jimny Camping Village open to the public?
No, Jimny Camping Village is only available to Jimny vehicles.
Can I bring my own food and drinks to the Jimny Camping Village?
Yes, there will also be food vendors and bar facilities.
Can I book my own accommodation in White River/Mbombela?
Yes you are welcome to book your own accommodation.
Can friends without a Jimny join me in White River for the weekend?
Yes, but they need to book accommodation in or around White River. Non-Jimny drivers/passengers won’t be able to join at the Camping Village and Jimny Gathering, but they are welcome to attend Safari Town Music Festival in White River.

Can I join the Jimny Gathering if I don't drive a Jimny?
Unfortunately not, but you are more than welcome to hitch a ride with one of your Jimny driving friends.

All ages are welcome. The Jimny Gathering is a family friendly event.
Can I bring my own food and drinks?
You are welcome to bring your own picnic basket with snacks, but no own drinks. We will have multiple food stalls and bars (alcoholic and non-alcoholic).

Pets are not allowed unless they are service animals, if so, please make sure the correct paperwork is available on request.
